Lawn Fawn: Wish Upon A Star Card

Lawn Fawn Wish Upon A Star Card by Maria Byrd |

This was a recreation of a card that a friend asked me to make for her.  I used Upon A Star stamp by Lawn Fawn which was released in summer of 2017.

For the night time sky background, I blended Spiced Marmalade, Faded Jeans and Seedless Preserves Distress Inks on a Neenah Cardstock.  The Forest Border is a mixture of the last two colors and Mowed Lawn (heavy on violet) on a separate sheet.  Meadow Borders have the same colors but mostly of Mowed Lawn.  I spritz them with water and sealed with Distress Glaze.

Critters were stamped on Canson Watercolor Paper with Versamark Ink and then colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush.  I made a few color variations of the critters so the one you see above is different from the final card.  I thought the white border around the fox stood out too much against the dark background, so I fussy cut it and the bunny.

The top meadow layer is adhered with foam squares and the constellations are heat embossed in Silver Pearl.  The outer frame is cut with Lawn Cuts Stitched Rectangle Stackables.  The entire assembly is adhered to an A2 size Neenah Cardstock.

I would like to enter this card to the following challenges:
1.  Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes (due 8/2, entry #677)
2.  Just Us Girls #404 Wild Card Week:  Something Old (Lawn Fawn Meadow Border die - Spring 2016 release) and/or Something New (Lawn Fawn Upon A Star stamp - Summer 2017 release) (due 8/3, entry #68)
3. Die Cut Divas:  Anything Goes August - dies used Lawn Fawn's Meadow Border, Forest Border, and Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables (due 8/31, entry #7)
