I've had this woodblock background stamp of leaves and vines by Hero Arts for about a year and I'm excited to have a wonderful reason to use it. I tried heat embossing the stamped image with silver embossing powder first, but ended up liking the clear powder better. It complemented the lilac glitter cardstock die cut with "best wishes" sentiment by My Favorite Things.
The salmon pink border is made with Lawn Cuts stitched scalloped dies. I adhered the same cardstock inside the Kraft-based card to write a custom note for the newlyweds. As I walked in the humid Texas heat towards the mailbox to drop off the card, I thought.. she must definitely be enjoying the beautiful weather of California! Lol
